Bee'ah - the Middle East's leading and award-winning integrated environmental and waste management company - has launched its myBee'ah Loyalty programme in Dubai with its first Reverse Vending Machine at the iconic eco-store, the Change Initiative on Sheikh Zayed Road.

This is the latest of several outlets to host the Reverse Vending Machine which accepts plastic bottles and aluminium cans in return for myBee'ah loyalty points.

The myBee'ah loyalty programme is designed to offer loyal environmentalists with savings and special offers from participating partners and affiliates in exchange for point's credit for their positive environmental deed, whether it's recycling or participating in an environmental event hosted by myBee'ah or contributing on the initiative's website or social media page.

"Forming an alliance with Dubai's first environmentally sustainability store reaffirms that what we have set out to achieve is becoming a reality. As a company dedicated to protecting the environment, we have established this programme to empower the community to take responsibility into their own hands and help lead environmental change in the UAE," said Mr. Najib Faris, Vice President of Business Development, Communications & Awareness at Bee'ah.

He added, "We are creating various initiatives to help overcome the UAE's environmental challenges, and attain our goal of zero-waste by 2015 across all the Emirate of Sharjah by finding other uses for waste as valuable resources. We are already on the way forward and hope that each member of society will attribute to our successes on journey of progress."

"It is an honour to be chosen by Bee'ah to jointly lead positive sustainable growth in the UAE. We are very happy to be the home of the Reverse Vending Machine, where our customers, as well as other visitors, will be able to recycle bottles and cans. At The Change Initiative, we believe that sustainability and protection of the environment should be rewarded, and now, in partnership with Bee'ah, we are one step closer to making this goal a reality," said Gundeep Singh, CEO and founder of The Change Initiative.

The public will be able to log on and register their membership details at www.mybeeah.ae which utilizes the latest available technology and innovation to link likeminded environmentalists to share up-to-date news as well as communicate and interact with one another about community events and tips. With support from the site's Facebook page and twitter feed (which have already surpassed over 1,350 followers), over 5,000 visitors have already registered on the site.

The website is the first environmental interactive portal in the region that gives individuals the power to make a difference. Members are encouraged to frequently revisit and engage in the changing conversation about the environment.

Bee'ah has been recognised for its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts through the launch of its educational and community commitment initiatives throughout 2010 and 2011 which empowered the public to practice environmentally sustainable lifestyles within their society.
