Beirut airport sees less passenger traffic in November

Lebanon's Civil Aviation Authority has said activity at Rafik Hariri International Airport has dropped last month, with the number of passengers declining 12%, compared with November 2011, The Daily Star has reported. The number of passengers using Beirut airport up to November of this year reached 5,464,654, compared with 5,208,179 passengers in the same period last year. Air traffic during the month also fell by 24%, but the size of air traffic in the first 11 months jumped by 5%, compared with the same period of last year, the authority said.
