  • United Arab Emirates: Saturday, March 09 - 2013 at 09:59

Bell Pottinger, the leading full-service international communications company, is pleased to announce two senior appointments to its Middle East operation: the appointment of Tim Wilkinson as Partner and the promotion of Tristan Peniston-Bird to Managing Director, based in Dubai.

Bell Pottinger has operated in the Middle East for more than two decades, with offices across the region, advising top regional and international companies, financial institutions, governments and not-for-profit organisations. The appointments reflect the firm's growth ambitions in this fast growing region.

Commenting on their appointments, Tom Mollo, Managing Director - International, Bell Pottinger said:"We are delighted that Tristan has relocated from London to the Middle East with a responsibility for overseeing our UAE offering. Tristan has a strong track record around the world and the nature of the region means that having an international outlook will be a big factor in our success over the coming years."

"Tim brings with him unrivalled experience of the Kuwait market and will play a dominant role in building our business there, initially from his base in Dubai. Tim's track record across corporate communications and public affairs in multiple markets will play an important role for supporting the international aspirations of our client base."

The news of these appointments follows a number of new client engagements, including the recently announced appointment by TECOM Investments.
