BlackBerry has dismissed as "false and misleading" a report by market research and investment firm Detwiler Fenton claiming high return rates for the company's flagship Z10 smartphone, Cnet has reported. The Ontario said it plans to ask US and Canadian regulators to probe the report that claims there have been "unusually high" return rates for the recently released device. "These materially false and misleading comments about device return rates in the US harm BlackBerry and our shareholders, and we call upon the appropriate authorities in Canada and the United States to conduct an immediate investigation," BlackBerry said.
