Oman’s Ministry of Defence Pension Fund has laid the foundation stone for the Nizwa Grand Mall, Oman Daily Observer has reported. The project includes a shopping centre, restaurants, entertainment and children’s play areas and many retail outlets, in addition to administrative offices, and other necessary facilities. The project will be run by global operators like Carrefour, Centre Point, Home Centre, Max, e-max and other commercial brands, said director general of the fund, Saleh bin Nasser al Habsi. Construction works of the complex and its different facilities are scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2015.
