Britain's Top Children's Doctors regularly treat patients from Kuwait and wider Middle East region

The Times, one of the world's most respected daily newspapers, featured its 'Britain's Top Children's Doctors' edition in December, which included many of Great Ormond Street Hospital's (GOSH) experts. The hospital staff were credited for their skills and contribution in their field of expertise, alongside their counterparts based at other national paediatric centres.
In this edition, the focus was the specialists who treat Britain's youngest national and international patients, and gave a glimpse of the pioneering doctors and surgeons who are transforming children's lives.

•David Dunaway, Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
•Martin Elliott, Director of Transplantation and the Tracheal Service
•Bobby Gaspar, Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Immunology
•Mary Glover, Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist
•Allan Goldman, Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care
•Nicholas Goulden, Consultant in Bone Marrow Transplant and Paediatric Haematology
•Ben Hartley, Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist
•Cheryl Hemingway, Consultant Paediatric Neurologist
•Isobel Heyman, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
•Peter Hindmarsh, Honorary Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist
•Owase Jeelani, Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon
•Stephen Marks, Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist
•Derek Roebuck, Consultant Paediatric Interventional Radiologist
•Alison Salt, Consultant Paediatrician in Neurodisability and Lead Clinician
•Victor Tsang, Lead Clinician, Cardiothoracic Surgery
•Russell Viner, Adolescent Physician, UCL Institute of Child Health
Many of these consultants regularly treat patients from Kuwait and the wider Middle East region and have been engaged in clinical exchange programmes in Kuwait with the Ministry of Health and other health ministries and hospitals across the Middle East.
