Business and government executives gather in Kuwait to attend Dr Kaplan's Masterclass

As Kuwait's business and government executives continue to adopt strategy management best practices across the country, Dr Robert Kaplan, the iconic inventor of the Balanced Scorecard is set to deliver his famous Masterclass as part of the first ever Balanced Scorecard Forum Kuwait.

The event takes place at the Crowne Plaza, Kuwait on 12-13 December.

Dr Kaplan's Masterclass is a comprehensive overview of how to implement the Balanced Scorecard successfully in both government and private sector organisations to ensure effective strategy execution. The Masterclass will be supplemented by strategy execution case studies presented by a range of successful organisations from across the GCC. Featured case studies include Kuwait's own Gulf Bank and three organisations that have achieved the prestigious Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame status: Bahrain Ministry of Works, YK Almoayyed & Sons and, most recently, The Executive Council of Dubai.

The event builds on more than a decade of the popular Balanced Scorecard Forum in Dubai and is brought to Kuwait by IIR Middle East. Conference Director, Vanessa Heywood said, "Balanced Scorecard Forum Kuwait is the first opportunity for Kuwait's strategy professionals to experience the unique blend of Masterclass, regional case studies and practical hands-on workshops that makes Balanced Scorecard Forum so popular. Not only can delegates hear Dr Kaplan share twenty years of Balanced Scorecard expertise, they can also hear from executives who have implemented the tool here in the Middle East and learn from their challenges and successes."
