Canon Emirates, a subsidiary of Canon Middle East, has further cemented itself as a leading printing solutions provider in the region with the signing of two Managed Print Service (MPS) agreements including the Intercontinental Hotel, Abu Dhabi and Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
"The Intercontinental Hotel was looking for a provider that could understand their printing requirements and offer a detailed solution. Canon conducted an in-depth site survey and provided consultation on what was required to efficiently manage the hotel's print portfolio. Impressed with the cost benefits involved, the hotel signed to cover a fleet of 36 Canon products with output management software for a period of four years," said Shadi Bakhour, General Manager, Canon Emirates.
Canon's Managed Print Service enables organisations to achieve significant cost savings and improvements in workforce productivity through expert print and information management consultancy. It also helps organisations with their information assurance and data management needs through networked devices and secure print solutions.
"The Beach Rotana hotel's previous printing fleet was made up of machines from multiple companies, which made gathering the hotel's printing requirements very difficult. Following our extensive study to identify usage patterns over a period of time, Canon provided a portfolio of cutting-edge printing solutions including 35 machines managed by the output management software which now enables Beach Rotana guests to access the state of the art mobile printing features," added Bakhour.
Canon Managed Print Services (MPS) proactively ensures that an organisation's printer fleet is managed the way it is to be - profitably and flexibly. MPS is also instrumental in achieving operational efficiency, meet compliance targets and reduce the organisation's carbon footprint. Thereby businesses save costs as well as meet their corporate social responsibility objectives too.
"Listening to the needs of companies and analyzing how best to meet these demands was imperative. Building a trustworthy relationship is one of our key competitive advantages and this was achieved through the delivery of promises made to the customer," concluded Bakhour.
