Canon Middle East to participate at Gulf Print and Pack 2013

  • United Arab Emirates: Monday, March 25 - 2013 at 09:40
  • PRESS RELEASE

At this year's Gulf Print & Pack, Canon Middle East will cement its position as the leading solutions provider to the digital printing market with its largest ever presence.

The 1000 m˛ Canon stand, which will also incorporate Océ as part of the Canon Group, is the largest exhibitor and gold sponsor at Gulf Print & Pack, the region's premier biennial show dedicated to the printing, graphics and packaging industry.

The stand's focus will be on enabling customers to see the bigger picture and the business opportunities it presents, especially in growth areas such as cross media communications.

Canon will showcase innovative applications and highlight customer successes on the stand. In addition, Canon will provide new research and insight to help its customers better understand their own customers, the buyers of print.

"Canon's focus at Gulf Print & Pack 2013 will be on helping commercial printers actively use their digital investments as a catalyst to accelerate their business growth by providing them with research and insight into what is important to their customers," says Naoshi Yamada, Deputy Managing Director, Canon Middle East.

"Our goal is to help them better understand their customers and with our unmatched portfolio, our confidence in the future of print and our investment in helping our customers to develop their businesses, we're uniquely positioned to do that."

"We will be showcasing vertical market turnkey solutions and new ideas for applications based on our understanding of our customer's needs and our commitment to adding real value to their business. Canon is known for consistently developing superior professional print technology products, solutions and business development tools that help professional printers to evolve their businesses. During the event Canon will utilise Gulf Print as a platform to leverage its understanding of the Middle East print customer's business requirements by providing customised solutions par excellence," added Yamada.

Canon Middle East Insight Report

A further source of inspiration for visitors to the stand will be Canon's first edition of the Middle East Insight Report, the full details of which will be revealed to customers at the show. The findings of the research will give insight into print buyers' purchasing requirements, expectations of print providers and views on the value of print in the communications mix.

Canon will use the Middle East Insight Report to shape the support it gives to customers who visit the Canon stand at the show to ensure they are equipped to communicate the full potential of their digital print capabilities to their own customers - the buyers of print. With access to this invaluable intelligence, Canon's customers will be able to make informed decisions about how better to support their existing customers and the best approach to take to win new business.

"Gulf Print has become a major milestone event for the Middle East print industry and one that Canon Middle East eagerly anticipates. Canon will be showcasing its entire line-up of products including Océ with its biggest ever presence at this year's event underlining its commitment to the professional print market," said Hendrik Verbrugghe, Marketing Director, Canon Middle East.

Canon will be present in Hall 3, Stand E1 at the four day event held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 8th to 11th April, 2013.
