Canon Middle East expands channel distribution network in Egypt

Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging solutions, has announced that it has signed two additional distribution partners in Egypt in a bid to strengthen customer relations and shape the future of the imaging industry in Egypt market by extending a host of innovative imaging solutions to customers across the rapidly developing market.
Canon Middle East firmly believes in the Egyptian market's ability to recover driven by a large internet savvy population and the needs of pre dominantly SME driven economy that focuses on cost optimization and profitability to survive in a heavily competitive market. The company is most optimistic about bringing its range of integrated cross media imaging solutions to a market ripe with new opportunities, to enable on the go connectivity across different technology components including Canon's own devices as well as other devices such as smart phones and tablets, Wi-Fi and cloud enabled devices.
Canon Middle East announced that it has added Digi Pro to its network of professional printing partners in Egypt to extend the Canon portfolio of production systems and meet growing demand for professional print technologies from the commercial as well as corporate sectors in the country.
A division of Al Madina for Advanced Technology, Digi Pro will use its extensive experience offering the Canon's leading high-value applications to automate business processes to deliver faster turnaround times, eliminate bottleneck and enable greater efficiency for the printing and packaging enterprises in Egypt.
Canon Middle East also signed Silicon 21, a leading value added distributor who currently extends Canon's consumer Pro Video solutions across the Egyptian market. Under the terms of the new agreement, the company will now also offer Canon's full range of business solutions across the nation's rapidly growing SMB and enterprise sector with a focus on key verticals such as Education, Banking and Healthcare through its channel partner distribution approach.
Silicon 21 will also be responsible for driving Canon's channel distribution network in Egypt to extend its market leading Document Imaging Management Systems (DIMS) and other Canon technologies in a bid to boost Canon's leadership in the printer, scanner and copier market in Egypt.
The new partnerships will be further supported by Canon Middle East's existing relationship with ETCO, who have been working together to offer Canon's business solutions portfolio to clients across the Egyptian market and also help hone the next generation of print professionals in Egypt through unique educational platforms and alliances.
