- PRESS RELEASE
Carrier Middle East launches its DesertMaster Series of packaged rooftop units in the Middle East, featuring high efficiency, easy installation and built-in reliability.
DesertMaster units leverage Carrier's Puron (R410A) refrigerant, offering energy efficiency with minimal environmental impact. One of the key components of the DesertMaster is also the high efficiency indoor fan motor that saves energy all year round even when there is no cooling demand.
Designed specifically for Middle East high ambient conditions, the 15 to 28 tons DesertMaster series has been fully qualified for operation at 125°F ambient temperature with advanced electrical safeties that protect the compressor against current phase loss and short cycling. Two independent refrigeration circuits provide backup capacity, and a highly reliable hermetic scroll compressor includes internal current overload and high pressure protections.
The product is available with many add-on features that can be tailored for particular applications, including UVC add-on for improved indoor air quality.
The DesertMaster is lightweight and easy to install with an adjustable motor pulley that can adapt to the characteristics of the ductwork, making it ideal for replacement or new construction. The units are ideal for supermarkets, clinics, warehouses, substations and switchgear rooms. All units are backed by Carrier's Middle East network of service, commissioning and spare parts for residential, light commercial and applied heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.
