- PRESS RELEASE
SIG Combibloc Obeikan (SIG CBOB), one of the world's leading aseptic packaging solutions provider, will exhibit its range of flexible packaging solutions at the Gulfood trade fair taking place from 25th - 28th of February 2013, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai.
With combiblocXSlim SIG CBOB answers the current market trend in the Middle East, Africa and Asia for more kid-friendly carton packs. The new, extra-slim small-format carton pack comes in a total of seven volumes from 80ml (a world first) to 180 ml, all of which can be filled on the same filling machine from SIG Combibloc.
The combidome on the other hand is a packaging totally unlike anything that has been seen on the market shelves. It combines the best features of a carton pack with the best features of a bottle - guaranteeing exceptional differences for any beverage.
"After last year's success at the Gulfood 2012 and winning an award for 'Best New Packaging Innovation - Drink', the team at SIG CBOB is pleased to be part of this prestigious trade fair once again. This year we are excited to introduce two new aseptic carton formats. We wouldn't like to reveal the scoop on the combidome just yet but let's just say the convenience of a bottle meets the unrivalled benefits of an aseptic carton pack and will definitely get your consumers 'thirsty' for more," said Norbert Hoffmann, SIG CBOB's CMO and General Manager.
"It gives us no greater pleasure than to invite our customers to visit the SIG CBOB team at the Gulfood and discuss ways to work together to ensure consumers everywhere reap the benefits of packaging that not only protects their food and beverages but is also environment-friendly."
