Centro Barsha - Sherif Madkour hands hotel responsibility to new general manager Eleni Tsolakou

Omer Kaddouri, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Rotana and Thomas Tapken, Area Vice President of Dubai & Northern Emirates were joined by all General Managers of the company's Dubai properties on that day, to welcome Eleni Tsolakou and bid farewell to Sherif Madkour. Omer Kaddouri commented "Centro Barsha introduced in the area a new dimension of hospitality for the executive traveller by offering superior and stylish accommodation at affordable rates. Today's figures prove that since the opening of the property, Sherif developed a very strong platform which I am sure Eleni will continue to build on, and bring even more business as the property grows".

Thomas Tapken congratulated Sherif on achieving the market tier and expressed his confidence that the hotel's future is even more promising, with Eleni bringing in her great past experience in the hospitality sector and understanding of the Centro brand. Sherif added "The past three years have been very significant for the team of Centro Barsha Dubai and for Rotana as a company. I feel very proud and satisfied, when I look back and see what we all achieved together. Change is always good and of critical importance in order for the company and its people to move forward".

Eleni Tsolakou was promoted to General Manager of Centro Barsha after completing 2 years as the Executive Assistant Manager of Yas Island Rotana and Centro Yas Island. "This is a very exciting opportunity and I feel confident we will all work together successfully in order to establish Centro Barsha as the most preferred destination for business travelers visiting Dubai and a hub for the vibrant local community". Sherif congratulated Eleni on her new assignment and invited his team to welcome her with a small reception at the hotel.
