CGC's participation through its fully owned Indian subsidiary, CGC Converse Technologies, in the prestigious annual event was a part of the company's aggressive global expansion plan and continued efforts to establish itself as an engineering services provider on a global platform.
CGC displayed its engineering design & modeling, laser scanning and As-built services capabilities at its stand during the 3 days long expo. Nitin Ghuliani, AGM, CGC, and the Country Head of CGC Converse Technologies, presented a paper on "Latest Technologies and Initiatives to capture Plant As‐built Information and improving access to the same through Digital Plant". He stressed upon the pressing requirement for Indian oil & gas entities to outline a strategy for moving towards As-Built Digital Plants. He received a thrilling response from the attendees.

CGC managed to have good response through several interactive sessions with the industry representatives present there. Commenting on CGC offerings, P.K. Marwaha of ONGC, Mumbai, said, "CGC's technology is of great help for the Owner-Operator companies. Their team did a great job in providing relevant information."
CGC is already implementing an ONGC As-built project in Mumbai through its Indian entity CGC Converse, which is based in the Indian IT city of Hyderabad and has its sales office in the country's financial capital as well, which amplifies CGC's global aspirations, inspired by Qatar's growing stature.
