Chaminda Vaas, Jonty Rhodes, Shaun Pollock, Wasim Akram, Confirmed to Participate at Third Annual Gulf Super Sixes

Crayons Communications, organisers of the 2012 Gulf Super Sixes, in association with Gulf Oil and Landmark Group held a press conference to announce four of eight cricketing legends that will participate in the third annual corporate cricket tournament in Dubai, UAE.
The teams will compete for the coveted 2012 Gulf Super Sixes Championship on December 14, 2012.
Participating at the press conference held at the Media Rotana Hotel in Media City, Dubai, UAE, Wasim Akram, Former Captain of the Pakistani International Team and Brand Ambassador - Gulf Super Sixes; Mr. Arshad Zaheer, CEO, Crayons Communications; Mr. S.P. Singh, Chief Marketing Officer, Gulf Oil; Mr. Neelesh Bhatnagar, Director, Landmark Group; and Mohamed Lokhandwala, Honorary Secretary, Dubai Cricket Council.
Mr. Zaheer, said, "Gulf Super Sixes has established itself as a premier corporate cricketing tournament in the region and is not just for teams to showcase their cricketing talent, but to entertain families and friends across the UAE that share a joy for both cricket and sport. The legends draw in the fans whilst helping teams perform significantly better every year and the talent does an incredible job of learning and producing games of the highest standards. We are certain that with these four additions this year's Gulf Super Sixes will be bigger and better than before."
A new initiative by Crayons Communications was also announced - a coffee table book titled 'Beyond the Boundary' will be created. The book is very visually oriented, and is meant to document participants, supporters, and various key moments of this year's edition of the Gulf Super Sixes. Pages comprise photographs and illustrations, accompanied by captions. The book will be handed to participating companies and sponsors as a token of appreciation.
The success of the inaugural Gulf Super Sixes drew in a vast crowd for the second annual tournament and organisers are expecting an even bigger and more multicultural audience to contribute to the tournament's overwhelming atmosphere of fun and excitement whilst showcasing cricketing excellence.
Held under the auspices of the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Cricket Council, the third annual Gulf Super Sixes will take place from 30 November to 14 December 2012 - qualifiers and finals will take place at the ICC GCA grounds at Dubai Sports City and at Dubai International Stadium, respectively.
Endorsed by Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment, the 2012 Gulf Super Sixes is now featured on the Dubai Calendar of events. The tournament is also supported Klear Water and Alokozay International.
