China's 'Chengai Toys Exhibition Centre' attracts customers from across the region

BS International, the trading arm of China's Shantou Chenghai Government has announced that the company has over 112 factories showcasing their products since its commenced operations two years ago.
An Dhs15m facility, China's Chenghai Toy Center at Dubai's Business Village is spread across 35000sq.ft and stores over 70,000 samples. The centre aims to be an integral link between the toy industry in the Middle East and manufacturers in China. Over 70% toys in the Middle East market are imported from China. China's toy market is expected to double to Dhs33.03bn by 2015 from 2010, according to the China Toy and Juvenile Products Association.
Ms. Ji Huilin, General Manager of BS International said that, "As China has become the leader of the toy industry in the world and Chenghai has become the hub of the toy industry in China, a visit to our centre in Dubai is equal to a trip to China. At the centre the customers can receive the real time price quotation and relevant information from Chinese companies and factories, carry out online discussions and acquire services from both the Dubai Center and China based factories at the same time. To showcase the potential and quality of Chenghai toys, the Centre is currently giving out attractive discounts during the 'Chenghai Toys Promotions' season."
Shantou Chenghai district is the most important toy manufacturing hub in China. This district is internationally renowned for its product diversity, price competitiveness and industry size. The rapid improvement of product quality, innovation and branding in the past few years has further helped Chenghai toy industry demonstrate the strength and advantage of Chenghai as the toy manufacturing hub for the world.
"Today the global market conditions are tough and we want to establish this centre as a platform for Chenghai's toy industry and provide benefits to both buyers and toys manufacturers and thereby reduce the cost for all parties. We update our products on a weekly basis and offering consistent prices which are at par with China. On an annual basis we organise events for both the manufacturers and customers to understand the market conditions and arrive at the best possible solution to tackle the market challenges," added Ms. Huilin.
"We believe that we will play a large role in growing this industry and create a niche for ourselves in the Middle East through our presence in Dubai as our hub. This centre which is a gathering of hundreds of small, medium and large scale toy manufacturers will also serve as an advertisement for 'Chenghai Toys' in the Middle East," added Mr. Tony Yu, Director for BS International, Middle East.
"Within the last two years, many customers have visited our centre; include local customers and customers from Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon and other countries. Our customers were impressed by the size, style, product variety, quality, service and efficiency of our center in Dubai. Through this platform we have reached better understanding and cooperation with all customers, of course the business was improved for all parties," added Mr.Yu.
