Chinese Consul General visits Dubai Municipality

Eng. Lootah and other high officials of Dubai Municipality received the Consul General at DM main building.

"Dubai Municipality has been in constant relation with China and many cities there. Shanghai and Chengdu are some important Chinese cities with which we have made friendship-city relations," said Lootah in this regard.

"In the field of municipal activities, urban planning ,environment and many other areas we have already made joint initiatives. We look forward more rooms of mutual understanding in sharing experience and expertise," said Lootah further.

Zhan Jingbao said active and effective relationship between global cities will help achieve many targets that otherwise hardly won. He also mentioned the China friendship cities conference just concluded in the city of Chengdu where Assistant Director General of DM, Obeid Al Shamisi represented Dubai.

The visit comes as the part of twinning agreement made between Dubai and many Chinese cities since 2000.
