The Reem Diamond, an exclusive 10-storey low-rise residential project being built in Abu Dhabi's Al Reem Island, marked a major milestone yesterday (Tuesday, September 25th, 2012) with the topping out of its completed structure. Owned by Smartwill Asia Limited, a subsidiary of veteran Hong Kong -based construction conglomerate Chun Wo Development Holdings Limited, the seaside development will support a natural, open-air lifestyle for its residents.

Representatives from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) led by Dr. Raymond Ho Chung-tai, the Chairman of HKTDC's Infrastructure Development Advisory Committee, attended the Reem Diamond's Topping Out Ceremony. Other HKTDC delegates included Mr. Stephen Wong, Regional Director, Middle East & Africa; Ms. Jenny Koo, Director of Service Promotion; and Mr. Ziad E. Rouayheb, Managing Director of Arabian Construction Company. The event is an important part of a 'Hong Kong Infrastructural Development & Real Estate Related Services Mission' that HKTDC is conducting across Qatar and the UAE under Mission Leader Dr. Ho.

The Ambassador of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the UAE, Mr. Huang Jiemin, was also present as Guest of Honor.

The Reem Diamond has a total saleable area of approximately 61,686 feet. It will house 48 units ranging from 1-bedroom units to 3-bedroom duplexes. The residential building will feature an infinity sky pool, spacious balconies with sea views, and tailor-made floor plans catering to a wide range of individual tastes.

Scheduled for completion in mid 2013, the Reem Diamond is strategically located at the Shams Abu Dhabi Master Development of Al Reem Island, a natural island 600 meters off the coast of Abu Dhabi. The Island is one of the emirate's first free zones where foreign nationalities can purchase property as leasehold.
