CMC shortlisted for three awards at 2013 Arab Health Achievement and Innovation Awards

Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department (PLM) at CMC is a state of the art department. Its main mission is providing comprehensive and accurate clinical pathology services in a time efficient manner. Our Quality Assurance Program validates new methods in reference to existing ones for elimination of bias, errors and interferences.

Our Imaging and Radiology department is for patients to be comfortable and confident in the services received.

The department has the following major characteristics: Experienced staff, 24hours/7days a week service and state of the art equipments. Our latest state of the art equipment is the new CT scanner with radiation dose being reduced by up to 83% and 3 Tesla MRI wide bore.

Dr. Karim Nawfal was recommended for the Young Surgeon of the year Award due to his impressive surgical skills and technical expertise especially in new technologies. He is leading the gynecology Robotic Surgery project at CMC.

Top performers from seven categories rewarding outstanding institutions will be announced on 29th January 2013, during the Arab Health Exhibition & Congress which is organized by Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions and will take place at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The judging panel examined more than 120 nominations in each category submitted by healthcare facilities and professionals from around the Middle East region to build the shortlist for seven award categories.
