- PRESS RELEASE
Coinciding with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Speech at the Government Summit, COCO JALILA - artisanal chocolates made with love for the UAE announces its launch.
Janeen Mansour, the Sales and Marketing Director of Coco Jalila says passion drives the brand.
COCO JALILA marries the two together to bring joy and pleasure to all those who live in and visit the UAE.
Having always had a deep love for and appreciation of fines foods, most especially all things chocolate. In the course of international travels, tasting many brands, and, with a desire to share favourites with friends and family, an idea took root: to create a truly sublime chocolate brand that is made with love for and in celebration of the homeland, the UAE.
This is a venture that is very dear to the heart says Janeen Mansour, the Sales and Marketing Director of Coco Jalila of the owner. She wanted to do it with love and she wanted to do it well. She researched her subject thoroughly, tasting, testing, listening and learning. Once she had all the information at her fingertips and decided upon the best artisanal suppliers, she prepared an executive summary and approached the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development to support and invest in her venture.
The Khalifa Fund team have been almost as excited as the business about the whole project and they are delighted to lend their support COCO JALILA by Jalila. Not only have they helped financially with 'Bedaya' an interest-free, flexible payment term loan, they have helped guide the business in planning the sales strategy and how best to take COCO JALILA to market effectively with the minimum delay.
Janeen Mansour, the Sales and Marketing Director of Coco Jalila says of the relationship "My Khalifa Fund appointed counsellor has been wonderful. I have received support and guidance when I needed and the Fund has also encouraged me to make my own decisions. The Fund has become my staunchest ally: opening doors and finding networking partners to give COCO JALILA the best possible start and opportunity for success."
To make the business work, being surrounded with people who not only share passion for chocolate but also love for the UAE. The brand's motif and packaging have been designed in consultation with up-and-coming Emirati graphic designer Fatma Al Mulla and the beribboned results are everything that the business could have wished for. Already the COCO JALILA name is on the lips of every 'chocolatista' and are busy making sure that it becomes as much their favourite as it is ours.
