Comguard adds German IT security specialist gateProtect to its portfolio

The high quality of German IT security solutions and gateProtect strong position in the market has been honored by leading analysts in the world. The U.S. market research firm Gartner placed gateProtect solutions in the Magic Quadrant for UTM Firewall appliances for the SMB market, whereas, Frost & Sullivan, another world's leading analyst firm awarded "Excellence Award" to gateProtect for its secuirty solutions.

gateProtect will be present during GITEX along with Comguard at Hall 2, Stand B2-32, Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai during GITEX Technology Week between 14th October to 18th October 2012, to showcase its version 9.2 of its next-generation -firewall.

The award-winning next-generation firewall solution from gateProtect recently won the EAL4 certification ("Evaluation Assurance Level 4" (EAL 4) Common Criteria.

For government and enterprise network security administrators around the globe, EAL4+ stands as a key certification. Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) and the EAL 4+ Certification is an International Standard for information technology security certification determining the trustworthiness of security products.
