Point Consultancy, a Dubai-based research agency that is blending traditional and new market research methodologies, announced that Henry Beales has been appointed as Business Solutions Consultant. Beales joins Point Consultancy with more than 6 years relationship building and business development experience.

Established in 2011, Point Consultancy offers full-service market research in the Middle East and North Africa, and has recently added to its portfolio a suite of more innovative research solutions and hybrid techniques, such as social media measurement, ethnography, online research and eye-tracking.

In his new position, Beales will partner with companies in the public and private sectors to make them aware of new market research innovations and technologies, and to come up with the most suitable traditional and/or new solutions that fit their needs.

He previously worked as Team Leader at a leading customer service consultancy firm in Dubai, where he assisted a diverse group of clients, ranging from large banks to boutique retailers, to improve their service offering.

Tamara Deprez, Managing Partner, said of the appointment, "I'm thrilled that Henry has joined Point Consultancy. His market research experience within the GCC marketplace has earned him a place in Point Consultancy's growing team."

Deprez also recently came on board as Managing Partner. She joins from a leading public relations measurement company in Dubai, where she served as General Manager, mainly focusing on implementing business essentials, building a team of well-trained analysts and revamping PR measurement reports.

Prior to this, she founded Maktoob Research in 2006, an online consumer research venture that was acquired by Yahoo! in November 2009, as part of the acquisition of Maktoob.com to establish an operation in the Middle East.
