Corniche Hospital to host annual international conference

Corniche Hospital will host its annual Update in Maternal and Fetal Medicine conference on October 13, 2012, at Abu Dhabi's Sheraton Hotel. More than 150 healthcare providers from across the UAE are expected to discuss critical issues and key advancements in maternal and fetal medicine.
The event will feature presentations and case studies on a wide range of topics, including maternal mortality, critical care in obstetrics, high risk obstetric anaesthesia, renal disease and pregnancy, and more.
Some of the world-renowned attendees will include Michael De Sweit, M.D., Emiritus Professor of Obstetric Medicine, Imperial College, UK; Catherine Nelson Piercy, M.D., Consultant Obstetrics at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospitals Trust and Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, UK; Geraldine O'Sullivan, M.D., Consultant Anesthetist Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals, UK; Jude Crino, M.D., assistant professor, department of gynaecology and obstetrics, director of perinatal ultrasound, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA; Paul Bosio, chief of service and gynaecology, Corniche Hospital; and Rehan Salim, director and consultant of gynaecology and assisted reproductive services, Corniche Hospital, UAE.
Corniche Hospital is managed by Johns Hopkins Medicine International, and is owned and operated by Abu Dhabi Health Services Company 'SEHA', which is responsible for the curative activities of all the public hospitals and clinics of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
