Foreword

The need for good corporate IT security has never been stronger. Poor security can leave a company's networks exposed and the damage done through lost productivity and lost data will not only cost a company money, but can also damage its reputation. This special report, aimed at IT and senior company heads, gives an overview to best practices when securing corporate data and systems. It looks at how to set policies and talks about why those policies need to be supported from the top down if they are to be adhered to. It discusses some of the key security trends today, what they mean for businesses and whether or not IT heads should be considering them.
