Cost the biggest barrier to Saudis seeking dental care

According to a survey by Oral-B and Crest, 43% of Saudis cite cost as the biggest barrier preventing regular dental visits, while 56% said that they would only visit a dentist for an emergency, Saudi Gazette has reported. The study also found around 50% of the respondents to suffer from some form of pain when it comes to their teeth, with 59% reporting up to 4 cavities. Key dental issues cited by Saudis were bad breath, sensitivity and bleeding gums, the report said.
