Crédit Agricole Egypt launches programme to encourage clients to use debit card in purchases

To coincide with Mother's days and as part of its effort to encourage clients to adopt the habit of making purchases via their Mastercard debit card as opposed to depending on cash, Crédit Agricole Egypt is launching a new incentive programme during the month of March.

Throughout the month, all clients making their purchases using their bank cards will receive cash-back automatically at the end of the month. The money will be automatically re-deposited in their accounts at the end of the month.

Crédit Agricole Egypt selected the month of March for this programme because it coincides with Mother's Day, when a lot of people purchase gifts. This makes the timing of the programme ideal for some cash-back.

"There is a worldwide trend where more and more people are depending more on the use of debit card to make purchases because it is more convenient, but more importantly, it's safer," says Crédit Agricole Egypt bank's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. François-Edouard Drion. "So we are giving our clients the opportunity to experience for themselves the convenience of using their debit cards for purchases."

Because the bank always puts the interest of its clients first, it is always eager to launch programmes that ensure that all clients receive the maximum benefit of the various services on offer. This programme is one of the many ways to encourage clients to discover all the benefits of using their debit cards, including making purchase."
