Cristal Hotels and Resorts appoints Sid Sattanathan as Cluster General Manager of Abu Dhabi properties

Cristal Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Sid Sattanathan as the new Cluster General Manager of its two properties in Abu Dhabi.

He will be responsible for the overall operations of Cristal Hotel Abu Dhabi on Zayed the 1st Street, offering 192 rooms and suites, and the recently opened Cristal Salam Hotel located in the Tourist Club Area, with 112 rooms and suites.

Sid has over 25 years of hospitality experience and holds a Master's degree from Cornell-Essec (I.M.H.I.). He began his career in the Front office and branched into Distribution and Revenue Management, which led to Regional Corporate roles in Singapore, Sydney and Amsterdam with Pegasus, Millennium Hotels and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

Keen on returning to hotel operations, Sid took up the role of Executive Assistant Manager at Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi, and later went on to accept the challenge of opening and launching the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi in 2009.

Having successfully completed over a decade with IHG, Sid decided to take up the challenge of his new role at Cristal Hotels & Resorts.
