DAMAMAX CEO participates in Middle East Peering

Eng. Mohammad-Monir Ghannam, CEO of DAMAMAX - a subsidiary of DAMA Ventures and one of the largest backbone operators in the Kingdom providing broadband solutions through optical fiber - participated on in the Middle East Peering Forum (MPF) which debuted on 7th March, 2013, at the Middle East Network Operators Group (MENOG 12) in Dubai.
Eng. Ghannam was chosen to take part in this particular panel as DAMAMAX is currently in the process of attempting a first-of-its-kind Internet Exchange Point (IXP) in Jordan.
During the panel, Eng. Ghannam spoke about the benefits of peering, the line-up of connectivity services and solutions DAMAMAX provides to its existing ISP clients in Jordan and the region, as well as the Company's future plans.
The MPF brought together leading content providers, expert engineers, IT and telecom professionals, as well as social media, mobile and network operators from across the Middle East and the world to discuss the impact that new Internet Exchange Points (IXP) will have on the Internet landscape, and how they will come to affect Internet Service Providers and network operators.

MENOG 12 was attended by a large number of professionals representing telecom operators and IT companies from across the region and the world. It featured numerous workshops which discussed the latest developments in the region's telecommunications and information technology sector.
