Dana Gas announces milestone production level in northern Iraq field

The ADX General Index ended down half a percenttage point at 2,641.84 points Sunday. Bellwether share Etisalat added 0.20% to reach Dhs9.75. Dana Gas dived 2.13% to Dhs0.47. Earlier in the day, the Sharjah-based natural gas firm said that together with Crescent Petroleum, as joint operators of the Khor Mor field the total production in their gas operations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has reached 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day at the 4th anniversary of production. "Total investment to date is close to $1bn and total cumulative petroleum production to date has exceeded 67m barrels of oil equivalent, making it the largest by the private sector in Iraq's oil and gas sector," Dana Gas said in an e-mailed statement.
