Dana Gas adjourns 'sukuk-EGM' due to a lack of quorum

The ADX General Index fell 0.75% to 2,995.42 points Thursday mainly due to losses in the banking and industrial sectors. Dana Gas bucked the trend and closed 2.17% higher at Dhs0.47. Earlier in the day Sharjah-based Dana Gas said it adjourned the extraordinary general assembly (EGM) held today to April 23 as the necessary quorum of 50% was not met. The board of direcotrs recommeds the EGM to approve the restructering of the company's ordinary and convertible sukuk with a combined value of $850m issued in 2007.
