Dana, Crescent's investment in Kurdistan tops $1bn

UAE-based oil and gas firms, Dana Gas and Crescent Petroleum have announced that the total investment on behalf of the partners in gas operations in Iraq's Kurdistan Region has exceeded $1bn, Iraqi Business News has reported. Total investment by the partners until the end of February 2013 stood at $1.004bn, since entering into agreements with the Kurdistan Regional Government for the Kor Mor and Chemchemal blocks in April 2007, with plans under discussion with the KRG's natural resources ministry for further expansion in investment and production levels, the firms said.
