Darwazeh Motors hosts the closing ceremony of the Alta Moda Fashion Week Event

Darwazeh Motors - the exclusive distributor of Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, and Vespa brands in Jordan announced that it is hosting the closing ceremony of the "Alta Moda, 60 Years of Italian Fashion" Italian Fashion Week event, which is being held at the Zara Center on November 29th, 2012.

The closing ceremony, held under the Patronage of HRH Princess Dina Mired, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, will include several segments, one of the most anticipated of which is a showcase of the Piaggio motorcycle brands; featuring the iconic Italian motorcycle brand Aprilia which recently celebrated its first place win at the Superbike World Championship (SBK) 2012.

In addition, the classic Moto Guzzi models and the 2012 and 2013 Vespa models with their sleek modern design will be also featured.

Significantly, the event will include a fashion show showcasing the latest Italian casual fashion trends, featuring an Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Vespa leather jacket collections inspired from Milan, the fashion capital of the World.

An auction will also be held during the event. Items being auctioned will include a pink Vespa motorcycle, a Vespa helmet decorated with Swarovski Crystals, a painting by Italian artist; Raffaele Gerardi, in collaboration with Tecnoshops for design and contract in Italy.

The proceeds of this auction will go towards supporting the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
CEO of Darwazeh Motors, Mr. Tamer Darwazeh explained that this sponsorship is a reflection of the entity's belief in the pivotal role that Alta Moda plays as a platform for bringing the latest in Italian fashions to the forefront of the local community's interests as well as its role in promoting corporate social responsibility.
