- PRESS RELEASE
Aesthetic facial surgery is becoming increasingly popular in Dubai as an alternative to repetitive treatments, owing to its long-term benefits and cost savings.
"A well-performed facelift will not only make you look 10 years younger but its effects will also last for about 10 years too. This compares to fillers or Botox, which can last 6 to 12 months," he added.
According to Dr Ghofrani, treatments such as face and neck lifts, eyebrow and eyelid lifts, and lip shaping are gaining in popularity among women living in Dubai. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, and with recovery time at less than two weeks for most procedures, Dr Ghofrani is expecting an increase in demand for his surgical expertise in early 2013.
Aestheticon's core surgical team is made up of Dr. Martin and Dr Ghofrani, both of who are highly trained German Board plastic/aesthetic surgeons and hand surgeons with more than 22 years of professional experience each.
"Both of us have successfully headed Departments of Plastic/Aesthetic Surgery and Hand Surgery at well-known German hospitals for many years in a highly competitive field," Dr Ghofrani says.
Aesthetic facial surgery is available to all and there is no need for preparation ahead of surgery, so long as the patient is in fairly good health and does not suffer from severely high blood pressure or severe diabetes, which are general prerequisites of any surgery.
However, Dr Ghofrani urges patients to listen to their surgeon's advice: "Crucial is a consultation by a well-versed specialist to get detailed, honest expert advice on whether surgery is the best form of treatment or less invasive treatments such as fillers, Botox or cosmetology are sufficient."
Aestheticon Clinic was established by Dr Afschin Ghofrani in May 2012, and offers plastic/aesthetic surgery, hand surgery and reconstructive surgery, as well as a range of market leading therapies from Germany, France, Italy and the USA.
