Department of Municipal Affairs organized workshop to set targets and key performance indicators for year 2013

The Strategic Planning and Performance Management Office in the Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) organized a workshop to review and set the main goals and the related key performance indicators for the year 2013 in two sectors, the Land and Property Management and the Municipal Affairs Support Sector.

The workshop was attended by H.E. Jasem Al Darmaki, the Managing Director of the Municipal Affairs Support Sector and H.E. Dr. Abdullah Ghareeb Al Bouloshi the Managing Director of the Land & Property Management Sector, and the employees of different divisions and sections in these two sectors.

The workshop discussed the main targets and key performance indicators for the year 2013 and how to align them with the public policy agenda of Abu Dhabi which aims to achieve, social, economic, and environmental sustainability.

During the workshop the attendees reviewed the concept of measuring and managing performance, before setting targets and key performance indicators for the new year and aligning these targets with the vision of the Department of Municipal Affairs which is to achieve an advanced municipal system that enables sustainable development and enhances the quality of living in the Emirate of BU Dhabi.

It is worth mentioning that by setting the targets and key performance indicators for the new year the Department of Municipal Affairs will be able to achieve better results and enhance the capabilities of the Municipal System to provide better services to the residents, investors and visitors of the Emirate.
