Dettol teams up with Save the Children in order to provide world's poorest children with basic healthcare benefits

76 Dettol employees will be volunteering their time at retail outlets throughout the UAE on these two days to educate people on the role they can play in providing healthcare benefits to the poorest children around the world.

Save the Children's health and hygiene programmes, supported by these donations, deliver life- saving interventions such as:

Preventing the spread of killer diseases like pneumonia, diarrhoea and malaria.
Training health workers to vaccinate, diagnose and treat children effectively.
Ensuring that babies are delivered by skilled birth attendants.
Advocating and supporting governments to develop effective health systems.
Supporting sexual and reproductive health services.

Paolo Borghesi, SVP, Reckitt Benckiser, said, "We've been working with Save the Children for the past 10 years and supporting their programmes around the world, including those in the Middle East.
