- PRESS RELEASE
Dettol's Mission for Health, a community initiative promoting health and hygiene, is partnering with Save the Children to donate 15% of sales proceeds of all Dettol products sold on 13 and 14 December.
Save the Children's health and hygiene programmes, supported by these donations, deliver life- saving interventions such as:
Preventing the spread of killer diseases like pneumonia, diarrhoea and malaria.
Training health workers to vaccinate, diagnose and treat children effectively.
Ensuring that babies are delivered by skilled birth attendants.
Advocating and supporting governments to develop effective health systems.
Supporting sexual and reproductive health services.
Paolo Borghesi, SVP, Reckitt Benckiser, said, "We've been working with Save the Children for the past 10 years and supporting their programmes around the world, including those in the Middle East. We hope that people will see the importance of this initiative and show their support. Our main aim is to ensure that more children are saved through our Mission for Health and we look forward to confirming a generous contribution towards Save the Children's life-saving work."
