- United Arab Emirates: Monday, November 05 - 2012 at 02:22
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has launched an electricity and water consumption efficiency review service across its customers' buildings, as part of efforts to effectively manage the consumption of electricity and water in the emirate, Khaleej Times has reported. The first phase of the review involves checking the lighting, air conditioning and water systems, and aims to promote conservation opportunities and maximise consumption efficiency by making recommendations for improvements where required. In the second phase, Dewa will monitor the power and water consumption of the buildings that have been reviewed to ensure that consumers follow recommended procedures for consumption efficiency.
