DGCXs signs co-location services agreement with Emaar Technologies

Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) announced that it has signed a co-location services agreement with Emaar Technologies, a subsidiary of Emaar Properties PJSC.
The co-location service will facilitate increased security, higher availability, access to both telecom providers, lower costs and disaster recovery facility for DGCX.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange, said, "This is an important partnership for DGCX at a time when it is poised to see increased trading volumes following the implementation of its new trading platform and the expansion of its product portfolio. One of the key focuses of the service provided by Emaar Technologies is to prevent any downtime to DGCX's business operations. This partnership will support DGCX in further developing the derivatives marketplace in the UAE and the region."
