DGEF 2013 Executive Committee reviews work in progress

The Executive Committee of the Dubai Global Energy Forum DGEF 2013 held a meeting chaired by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) and Chairman of the Executive Committee, attended by Ahmed Butti Al Muhairabi, Secretary General of the Council and Vice Chairman of the Committee, and representatives from the logistics, technical, media and financial committees.
DGEF 2013 is a unique platform for leaders, energy specialists and experts to exchange knowledge and thoughts about the most important regional and global trends in the fields of clean energy and sustainability.
The meeting reviewed work in progress for DGEF 2013 including key angles, sessions, and nominated speakers. The logistics, technical, media and financial committees presented their progress and discussed latest their latest updates and preparations. The committee deliberated on speakers, arrangements and tracks for the forum.
The Forum aims to support talks and discussions to achieve sustainable improvements in the energy sector internationally. It is also a global platform to share talents, expertise, and best practices in the energy field, including clean and renewable energy, peaceful use of nuclear energy, current and future policies, applications and cutting-edge technologies for energy, investments opportunities, market indicators, and specific technologies to decarbonize Fossil Fuel (oil, gas and coal).
The DGEF 2013 agenda will discuss effective policies, available opportunities in the energy sector and a vision for renewable and alternative energy resources. It will also focus on solving various issues through in-depth sessions and dialogue. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn more about future challenges in the energy sector and potential opportunities for achieving sustainable development through informative detailed lectures, and will be able to participate and share their opinions.
The Forum will be attended by government officials, VIPs, decision makers, CEOs of leading companies, and scientists, researchers, and analysts from all over the world.
