Director General of Dubai Municipality receives Minister of Social Affairs

Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality on Thursday in his office received HE Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, the UAE Minister of Social Affairs.

The visit comes within the framework of cooperation and interdependence between the government bodies and to discuss ways to strengthen the partnership in various common themes. The visit reflects the interest of both parties to cooperate and exchange experiences to improve in order to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership.

Lootah welcomed HE the Minister and stressed the importance of communication and cooperation between government departments and agencies in order to develop and enhance the scope of joint action, need for unity and cooperation for the good of the country, stressing the Dubai Municipality's keenness to maintain the reputation of Dubai and the good efforts of the Government of Dubai.

'We strive to highlight the city's image through our participation in all events and awards inside and outside the emirate,' Lootah said.

'The civic body is ready to provide its full support to the ministry in order to achieve, serve and enhance the status of the city of Dubai,' he added.

He praised the efforts and role played by the ministry to serve the city through the promotion of integration with local governments and improvement of the quality of social service and designing nurseries and in accordance with the international standards and requirements for children.

He also presented a brief about the activities and services of the civic body in addition to its remarkable achievements.
