DM Healthcare announces two state-of-the-art multi-specialty ASTER Hospitals in the UAE

Marking the completion of DM Healthcare's 25 years, the two Silver Jubilee Hospitals will offer state-of-the-art facilities and the latest in technology and techniques to provide tertiary care across specialties. The Hospitals will also provide super-specialty clinics. The two Hospitals will focus on offering excellence of service and clinical offerings to ensure faster recovery and a minimal length of stay for patients. The two Hospitals will add an additional 300 beds to the ASTER portfolio.

To be located at Mankhool Bur Dubai in Dubai and King Faisal Street in Sharjah, the two Hospitals aim to offer ease of accessibility to residents across the emirates. The Hospital are slated to be completed and operational during the last quarter of 2014.

Some of the general specialities offered at the new ASTER hospitals are: Family medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Clinical Psychology, Dermatology, and General Surgery. The super-specialities include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Urology, and Neurology. The diagnostic services at the hospital are Radiology, which comprises of MRI Scan, CT Scan, X-Ray, Mammography, and ultrasound. The Laboratory includes microbiology, hematology, biochemistry and immuno serology.

The ASTER Hospitals provide an entire floor dedicated for mothers and babies to ensure that the best care is provided to parents as well the new-borns. ASTER aims to facilitate a healthy bond between the mother and child, giving parents a positive environment to welcome their babies.

A twenty four hours emergency care is available for patients at both ASTER Hospitals. Further, ambulatory services offered by the Hospital's, along with easily accessible locations, ensure that patients are able reach the Hospitals easily during times of emergency. The ASTER Hospitals offer a comprehensive Orthopaedic department, besides being fully equipped to offer advanced bariatric and weight-loss procedures, radiology and telemedicine facilities and techniques.
