DM Healthcare in talks over two India acquisitions

Dubai-based DM Healthcare is to set to conclude two key acquisitions of hospitals in India for $100m, as part of its expansion in the sub-continent over the next two years, Business Standard has reported, citing investment banking sources. The company is in talks for an acquisition deal of $37m with a hospital near Hyderabad. DM Healthcare has around 1,000 beds in India and is looking to take this up to 4,000 in two years by setting up clusters of 'Hub and Spoke Hospitals' in the Tier II and III cities, the report said.
