DMCC announces the development of a Community Park in the heart of Jumeirah Lakes Towers

DMCC will also construct a new pedestrian bridge to connect the Southern and Northern areas of the community. Construction will take approximately eighteen months and is expected to begin in early 2013.

Today's announcement reflects our desire to continually improve and innovate as we seek to enhance our dynamic residential and business community.

"This also represents a perfect example of the importance of maintaining an ongoing dialogue with our community. Over the past year, we have engaged with residents, owners associations and tower developers alike to get their opinions on the community park and have been inundated with positive feedback, with an outdoor green space top of their wish-list."

JLT's new park will replace Lake C and offer the opportunity to enjoy a much needed outdoor space. The pedestrian bridge will further enhance pedestrian access throughout the community and JLT's new planned facilities including; two pedestrian boulevards; shaded pathways connecting the various areas of the park; children's amenities; picnic areas; open lawn areas; exercise areas; a lake side plaza; a pedestrian link bridge to the south side of JLT; and access to retail outlets on the promenade, all accessible via conveniently located drop off and parking options.

The enhancements to the JLT community are a response to extensive community consultation between DMCC, Concordia, Tower Developers and Owners Associations.
