  • PRESS RELEASE

Al Ahli club Dubai and Dnata announced a new partnership deal which will see the largest provider of travel services in the Middle East provide sponsorship to the club over the coming two years.

Al Ahli is one of the most successful clubs in the UAE and Dnata has been the agent of choice, managing the Club's travel requirements, for over fifty years.

The partnership will enable Dnata to engage with the UAE sporting community - clubs are an important part of life for young Emiratis. Football regularly attracts a high number of fans to tournaments and championships.

"Football is the most popular sport in the UAE and Al Ahli is a long established local club with a loyal following," said Abdulla Tawakul, Senior Vice President of Dnata's travel business.

"We know many of our customers are football fans and this partnership gives us a chance to share their passion for the game. Our association with Al Ahli over the past 50 years makes the Club a natural partner for us."

"We see this partnership as the joining of two successful UAE companies and we look forward to working together over the next two years. We are delighted to have the respected and well-known Dnata brand associated with our Club," said Ahmed Khalifa Hammad, CEO, Al Ahli Club.

Al Ahli's next home game is 19th November against Banyas at Rashid Stadium.
