Dolphin awards GDI QR124m 'lift boat services' contract

Dolphin Energy has awarded Gulf Drilling International (GDI) a QR124m contract to provide lift boat services over a 16-month period, Gulf Times has reported. The self-propelled jack-up unit will provide accommodation, maintenance and platform support to Dolphin's 'DOL 1' and 'DOL 2' platforms. The vessel is scheduled to start operations in January next year and will continue under the primary term of the contract through April, 2014.
