DP World recognised in Middle East CIO 50 Awards

In recognition of its commitment to innovation, DP World, UAE Region was recognised at the Middle East CIO 50 Awards held recently in Dubai, where a selection of chief information officers were honoured as the top 50 in the region for a range of IT applications.
DP World was presented the accolade for its Enterprise Architecture case study submitted by Ahmad Al Haddad, Senior Manager, IT Application Management, DP World, UAE Region.
The 'Enterprise Architecture Process implementation with Iserver' project was selected from 500 entries submitted by organisations across the Middle East.
Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, DP World, UAE Region, said, "DP World has been ahead of the game in the use of innovative IT solutions to support its business growth and achieve excellence. All projects should add value to our core business and fit with our strategic objectives and my congratulations go to the IT team for their achievement. It is fundamental for DP World to realise sustainable value through global growth, service and excellence as well as a necessity to swiftly document the existing Enterprise Architecture blueprint that has empowered the delivery of IT services thus far."
