DPG reports strong investor interest at Arabian Travel Market 2013

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, reported strong interest from investors in its key destinations including DuabiLand and The Walk at JBR during the recent ATM exhibition which attracted more than 17,000 industry professionals from around the world.
Designed to further improve the attractiveness of The Walk for residents, visitors and tourists, the enhancements will create connectivity points with future tram stops and provide a better visitor experience overall.
The popular visitor attraction, which had over 10 million visitors last year alone, was showcased on the stand to give visitors a true flavour of the Emirate's popular beachfront destination offering a unique mix of shopping, outdoor cafés, retail and recreation.
DPG's entertainment and residential district of DuabiLand also saw a number of announcements from third party developers which included City of Arabia's 'IMG Worlds of Adventure'; the largest indoor entertainment destination in the world. In addition, Akar Landscaping announced plans to expand its increasingly popular Miracle Garden project, which upon completion, will be home to the largest vertical garden ever created.
Speaking about DPG's participation at the event; Khalid Al Malik, Group CEO of DPG, said, "As one of the key developers in Dubai, we will focus on enhancing and investing in new and existing tourist attractions in line with HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, 2020 vision announced this week at ATM. Our growing destinations, DuabiLand and The Walk at JBR, are very well positioned to contribute to the future development of visitor growth to Dubai and have proved to be increasingly popular throughout the years, attracting millions of visitors. In addition, the recent announcements made during ATM will certainly ensure the continued popularity of these destinations."
The DPG stand featured a number of DuabiLand attractions including Global Village, MotorCity, Dubai Sports City, Dubai Outlet Mall, Al Sahra Desert Resort and Sustainable City.
