DQG's CIO Arabia subgroup organises seminar on SLAs

The CIO Arabia - a subgroup of Dubai Quality Group (DQG), organised a seminar on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) at DQG's premises. The seminar, held under the theme 'SLAs - The key to evoking performance from your entire supply chain', was meant to help learn how a performance-based SLA can help better align IT services to its customers and continuously improve service level performance.

The presentation, given at the event, covered a number of vital topics, including: Aligning IT goals, metrics and targets to business goals; Using back-to-back performance measures along the entire length of the IT value chain; Aligning key suppliers; Adopting one corporate IT Master Services Agreement; Known benefits; in addition to a case study on both, Internal and External SLAs by Dubal.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahmad Al-Mulla, Chairman of CIO Arabia, said, "Such initiatives provide an opportunity to communicate effectively with a range topics raised and discussed at the seminar, pointing to the importance of these topics, particularly in the field of IT metrics - their alignment to work mechanisms, and their support for excellence and innovation in various practical means that help to facilitate the access of customers and other stakeholders to them confidently and competently, and then improve the service level performance in a way that always ensures excellence."

Al-Mulla asserted, "The CIO Arabia Subgroup and DQG in general, are keen to provide complex ways, procedures and options to attain a ground, suitable for work and achievement, towards the fact of excellence and creativity at all levels."
