HE Dr. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri to speak at 2nd Annual IT for Government

After the success of the IT for Government in 2011, Fleming Gulf Conferences is staging its 2nd Annual IT for Government in 19 - 20 November 2012 in Dubai. A special session on 'An innovative approach to e-government transformation ' will be conducted by His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Director General of Emirates Identity Authority who is one of the speakers at the summit.

The last edition of the IT for Government was held under the Patronage of "The Emirates e-Government" received an extremely enthusiastic and encouraging response from the participants and sponsors alike.

Khalid Al Hammadi, Chief of GIS Central Informatics & Communications Organisation (CICO), Kingdom of Bahrain who attended the summit said, "This was my first participation which I enjoyed and had the honor to meet with Geospatial Guru's and expertise from the world. The conference agenda and exhibition were very rich and insightful and many good lessons and knowledge were learnt."

Ramzi Fakhereddine, eHosting DataFort, one of the sponsor at the summit, quoted, "The event was informative especially with respect to topics related to cloud computing and the speakers on this subject had rich material and experience to share."

This year the two-day conference will discuss the current situation, scope and development Of the ICT enabled eGovernance Paradigm Worldwide. It will be a focussed two day conference, where global thought leaders will attempt to to highlight the obstacles for growth, and recommend strategy for the future development. The participants will get to be a part of power discussions on: 'What does Today's Modern Citizenry Want?' and 'The Linking of Policy with Technology: How can CIOs Affect Change at the Top?'.

The conference, this year has a specific and deep focus on Information and Cyber Security and sets the stage for IT Specialists to learn how to view IT and security from the perspective of creating value for the organisation by appropriately balancing IT risks and rewards. Incorporating top regional and international IT and security subject-matter experts, the IT for Government 2012 conference will arm attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to build and manage agile and resilient IT programs while ensuring the protection of critical information assets.
