Dr. Asem mansour appointed as CEO/Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Cente, and Dr. Hikmat Abdel-Razeq as Deputy Director General

HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) announced the appointment of Dr. Asem Mansour as the new CEO/Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
Dr. Hikmat Abdel-Razeq was also appointed as the new Deputy CEO and the Chief Medical Officer of the King Hussein Cancer Center.
Dr. Mansour has been a pillar of the King Hussein Cancer Center for the past 14 years and will succeed Dr. Mahmoud Sarhan at the helm of the Center.
He joined KHCC in 1998 and served as Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology since then.
Under his leadership, the Department of Radiology grew in qualified staff and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that currently makes it one the best cancer diagnostic radiology units in the region. In addition to that role, Dr. Mansour has held the post of Deputy Director General of the Center for the past six years.
Dr. Mansour is a renowned radiologist and an expert in the field of diagnostic radiology in particular.
He carries the European Fellowship in Neuroradiology (ECNR), and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR-London, United Kingdom).
He has published many articles in international journals and is a renowned expert in oncology and neuroimaging.
Dr. Mansour is also an active reviewer for diagnostic radiology journals and a life member and expert reviewer for the International Union Against Cancer.
In addition, Dr. Mansour is also a member of the American College of Physician Executives. In Jordan, Dr. Mansour has been assigned the Chairmanship of the National Palliative Care Committee by the Ministry of Health and is a member of the International Advisory Committee for the Jordan Breast Cancer Programme.
Dr. Hikmat Abdel-Razeq, a highly qualified oncologist, has most recently served as KHCC's Chairman of Internal Medicine and is a consultant in hematology and medical oncology.
He holds certification from the American Board of Medical Oncology, the American Board of Hematology and the American Board of Internal Medicine and has fellowships in Bone Marrow Transplantation and in Hematology and Medical Oncology both from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA.
HRH Princess Ghida Talal and the members of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation's Board of Trustees have full trust in Dr. Asem Mansour and Dr. Hikmat Abdel-Razeq's capabilities to continue leading the King Hussein Cancer Center as a state-of-the-art, comprehensive cancer center delivering the most advanced cancer care to the people of Jordan and the region in line with international standards.
