Drake and Scull International awarded Dhs318.5m worth MEP contracts in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi

Drake and Scull International (DSI) PJSC, a regional market specialist in integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of civil contracting, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), water and power, rail and oil and gas, has announced that it has been awarded three new MEP contracts amounting to Dhs318.5m for a commercial development facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the western province Al Taif and an administrative governmental facility and hospitality development in Abu Dhabi.

The KSA contract, worth SR83m, covers 58 commercial buildings and will be completed in quarter three 2013. The administrative governmental project is valued at Dhs115m and will be completed in quarter four 2013. The Dhs118.5m MEP contract for the hospitality development, covers a 10-level commercial tower and a business hotel and is scheduled for completion also in quarter four 2013.

Expansion into Africa and Asia is on track where the company is particularly focusing on the utilities sector aiming to benefit for the unique patent engineering technology of its German Subsidiary Passavant Roediger in the Water and Waste Water fields.
